Glace Bay Man Facing Drug, Theft Charges

The search occurred at about 8:30 p.m., and police discovered approximately $15,000 worth of stolen goods at the residence. The man, whose name has not yet been released, will appear in Sydney provincial court today facing charges of trafficking in marijuana, theft and possession of property obtained by crime.

SYDNEY — A 43-year-old Glace Bay man is expected to appear in provincial court later today in connection with charges from a hit-and-run accident Thursday.

Cape Breton Regional Police were called to the McDonald’s restaurant on Welton Street at approximately 4 p.m. having received a report of a hit-and-run in the parking lot.
